OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)-- IOF soldiers can now lawfully fire at Palestinian demonstrators protesting at the apartheid-wall being built by the Israeli occupation according to a report in Maariv. A Justice Ministry official stated on Wednesday that the Israeli attorney general has relaxed the rules of engagement for the IOF allowing the boarder guard snipers to fire at the legs of demonstrators. However, the IOF troops are not allowed to shoot at Israeli or foreign citizens. Over the past month, 13 Palestinians have been wounded in the legs, by IOF snipers taking advantage of the new rules, in the Jerusalem area, according to the paper. |
